A huge well done to pupils and staff who have completed a very successful working trip to Zambia. They helped with the digging of foundations and building of a new set of classrooms for the local community. They also taught classes at the school to their new friends. It has been an amazing experience for all concerned. Here are a few more photographs to give a flavour of what it was like.
Today the group head south to Livingston to have some r&r I presume. Well earned lads, enjoy.

Immersion Trip To Zambia

On Wednesday morning a group of students and four staff members headed on a trip of a lifetime as they set off for Zambia. This is the third visit by a group form Wexford C.B.S. to undertake this trip. They will learn about life there and assist in the building of a local school project.
They had an eventful start to the trip as delays at Dublin airport had a knockon effect and their connecting flight to Zambia was missed in Heathrow, London. They were re routed to Johanesburg, South Africa and finally to Lusaka, Zambia. All have been fed and are now asleep.
Tomorrow brings a whole new world to them.
