Bridgetown VC....1 Wexford CBS....7
A cold morning in Bridgetown greeted both teams. Bridgetown started
the brighter of the two teams. Wexford’s back-line of Dylan O’Regan, Kevin
Harte, Ryan Byrne and Lee Busher withstood the early pressure. Eventually the
CBS began to gain the upper hand, their midfield of Cormac Byrne, Dylan Ennis,
Matthew Creane and Mark Doyle produced numerous neat moves. Micheal Lalor had
two good chances but found the side netting with both efforts. Good work from
Dylan Ennis and Liam Rockett had Wexford on the attack. After an inviting cross
from the right wing, Matthew Creane slide the ball to the net. Wexford CBS 1-0

Wexford the lead, 2-1.
