The first half was a cagey affair, Enniscorthy defended well
as the CBS tried in vain to break the deadlock. Leon Nolan produced a fine save
from Enniscorthy’s keeper after a clever Dylan O’Regan cross from the left.
Adam Dempsey was rarely troubled in Wexford’s goal, on the occasional
Enniscorthy attack he acquitted himself impressively. Half-Time 0:0

The second half continued where the first half had finished
with Wexford probing for the opening goal. Approaching the last 15 minutes the
sides were still deadlocked. CBS Sub: TJ Cousins for Leon Nolan. Wexford’s
mid-field duo of Dion Murphy and Sam O’Neill impressed at every opportunity.
Sam produced a fine save from the Enniscorthy keeper from all of 20 yards. Liam
Godkin neatly feed Luke Dowdall, Luke was fouled on the edge of the box. Dylan
O’Regan’s free-kick was spilled by the keeper and TJ Cousins was on hand to
poke home the opener. WX CBS 1-0 EVC. Another quick strike
from TJ gave CBS a 2-0 advantage. Wexford continued their dominance, Luke
Dowdall adding to the score, nicely finishing to the keeper’s right CBS 3-0 EVC.

Enniscorthy pushed forward with time against them, determined
to register on the scoreboard. They left empty handed as the game ended Wx CBS
3-0 EVC, Enniscorthy’s performance merited more but Wexford’s attacking power
