The under 16 and senior basketball teams travelled to
Bridgetown recently. It was a day of mixed success with the u-16 being narrowly
beaten 18-13,while the u-19 had a very impressive win 35-15. Lorcan Brennan led
the scoring for the u-16 with 5 points including one 3pointer. Denis Misculescu
led the scoring with 10points,while his brother Angelo chipped in with another
8points and provided many assists to his brother. Both played some great
defence and were aided immensely at that end by the rest of the team in
particular Zygimantas Sniezka. Both teams now face St.Peters in a town Derby on
Friday the 14th October.
