Our JCT squad put in a fine display of rugby in horrendous conditions at Park Lane, Wexford to crush Sandford Park in their Rd. 2 Duff Cup game. They performed exceptionally well in the conditions as they moved the ball with great precision and skill in attack after attack. This was rewarded in the first half with tries from Cian Connolly and Emmet Nolan. Conversions we added by Ruairi Fenlon. The second half got of to a great start with Eoin Foley and Eoin McBride adding further tries early on. This platform was built upon with the clever box kicking and pick and go driving, kept the Bokerboys deep in the oppositions territory. Eoin McBride capped a great performance with a second try. Three more conversions were added by Ruairi Fenlon and Emmet Nolan.
A great win indeed. We now await DLS Churchtown or GC New Ross in the Q-Final.
