Junior Rugby Development Cup Rd.1

Wexford C.B.S....47   Bridgetown V.S ...10

A comprehensive win for the Juniors today in what was a first game for many of the players involved. They certainly acquitted themselves very well, and the future looks bright at The Boker in relation to rugby matters.
Captain Callum Murphy was on the score sheet after four minutes, when he finished of a backline move, to score near the posts. Kevin Bierney was on target with the conversion. Michael Lalor, Kevin Bierney and Chris Vickery all added firther tries before half-time. Kevin Bierney kicked another two conversions to make it 26-0 at the break.
Wexford have a big strong team, with lots of players always available to carry the ball. This pressure took its toll on the Bridgetown defense and a further two tries from Callum Murphy and one from Chris Vickery were more than enough to account for the opposition. Kevin Bierney again kickedall three conversions to bring his tally to 17.
Well done to all, keep showing up at training and keep learning. There is lots of room for improvement.
