Enniscorthy CBS..........................7-10
Wexford CBS................................3-5
Enniscorthy CBS
overpowered their Wexford counterparts in this second round championship match.
After ten minutes Wexford led by 0-2 to 0-1 but the soft concession of three
goals in a short space of time midway during the first half decided the
contest.
Cathal Kirwan found Kevin Corrigan for the opening point of the game as Wexford CBS enjoyed a bright start. Philip Rawson passed to Corrigan for CBS’s second point shortly afterwards but that’s where it ended for the Bokerboys as the home side took over.

At half-time the score was
5-6 to 0-2. Wexford were transformed on the restart. Cian Rossiter smacked in a
goal after twenty seconds but Enniscorthy replied with their sixth goal from
the puck out. Undeterred Wexford kept at it and were rewarded with Kevin
Corrigan’s pulled goal and Luke Dowdall’s goal.
However, the Enniscorthy
ran out very comfortable winners.
Wexford CBS face FCJ
Bunclody in the last round but unfortunately can’t qualify for the knock out
stages.
